Trade between Moldova and the European Union will become faster and easier thanks to the implementation of the CEFTA “Green Corridors/Lanes” initiative
As announced by the EU delegation in our country, Moldova along with other candidate countries, has agreed with Italy, Greece, and Bulgaria on faster and easier passage of goods across the border. In particular, three bilateral agreements were signed in Brussels that simplify customs cooperation between Moldova, Albania, and North Macedonia with Greece, Bulgaria, and Italy as part of the Central European Free Trade Agreement (CEFTA) “Green Corridors/Lanes” allow for the exchange of electronic customs data. “The goal is to make the process easier and more efficient for carriers so that they can deliver goods from one country to another faster,” said the European Union's representative office in Moldova. // 18.12.2024 — InfoMarket.
