Moldova organizes emergency commercial flights to facilitate the movement of refugees from Ukraine.
The government announced this, noting that the Civil Aviation Authority will deal with this. In particular, refugees who entered the territory of Moldova from Ukraine and intend to migrate to another country can register by filling out an online form on the official website of the Civil Aviation Authority - https://www.caa.md/repatriere. They can also register by phone: 022 823 500 and 022 823 587. Applications will be accepted from Monday, March 7th. All requests will be sent to a specialized database, where one can check the information about the possibility of the next evacuation flight in real time. Upon confirmation of at least 150 wishing to fly to a specific destination, the Civil Aviation Authority will open a competition for the selection of an airline that will perform an evacuation flight. The announcement of the competition for the selection of the air carrier will be published on the official website of the Civil Aviation Authority. The winner will be selected according to the criterion of the lowest price offered for one passenger seat (including all taxes). The winning carrier will have 48 hours to inform all applicants of the evacuation flight, ticket sales and flight operation.
