The airspace of Moldova is closed until March 4, 2022.
This decision was made by the Civil Aviation Authority of Moldova after the authorities of Ukraine and Russia issued NOTAMs (NOtice To AirMen), according to which the airspace of Moldova was declared a high-risk zone for civil aviation, and also taking into account the recommendations of the Supreme Security Council. According to aviation procedures, aircraft that were supposed to land at Chisinau International Airport are redirected to reserve airports. Today, 8 flights were canceled to arrive at the airport, 4 were redirected to other airports, 3 aircraft arrived. At the same time, 7 planes took off from the Chisinau airport, and 8 flights were canceled. // 24.02.2022 — InfoMarket.
