This is envisaged by the Road Fund Distribution Program for National Public Roads for 2022, approved by the government at a meeting on Wednesday. According to the document, it is planned to allocate 696.47 million lei for road maintenance, including more than 302 million lei for current road repairs; 155.2 million lei - for periodic maintenance; 71.7 million lei - to ensure road safety (road markings, metal parapets, road signs, etc.); 70 million lei - for the maintenance of roads in winter, 70 million lei - for the management of public roads; 25 million lei - for the maintenance and repair of bridges and other similar facilities; 2.1 million lei - for the development of regulatory documents, the introduction of modern technologies and quality control; 0.4 million lei - for planting trees and bushes. At the same time, the program provides for the reconstruction and repair of national roads and engineering structures with a total length of 61.63 km in the amount of 538.17 million lei. It's about 19 objects (sections of roads, bridges, road junctions, etc.). The program also provides for co-financing of road rehabilitation works included in the regional development program in the amount of 183 million lei. 60 million lei are planned for the implementation of design work, assessment of roads and the purchase of land in the event of the expansion of national roads.
