The customs authorities of Ukraine allowed the passage of all trucks stopped at the border with cargo for Moldova and returned confiscated goods to drivers
This was announced by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development, noting that this happened after coordination of actions by the sectoral department with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, the Embassy of Moldova in Ukraine and the Embassy of Ukraine in Moldova. The Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development provided up-to-date information on the trucks of transport companies from Moldova stopped at the Russian-Ukrainian border (customs post "Troebortnoye" Russian Federation - customs post "Bachevsk" Ukraine), as well as other trucks from Moldova located on the territory of the Russian Federation, as of March 4, 2022, the competent authorities reportedly provided all possible assistance in the evacuation of 12 trucks with goods belonging to companies from Moldova from the Bachevsk (Ukraine) customs control zone. Thus, 8 trucks out of 12 moved to the territory of the Russian Federation, and the remaining 4 are still in the customs control zone of Bachevsk (Ukraine), as they were vandalized and cannot be towed. For the remaining 4 trucks, the authorities are in contact with the Russian Foreign Ministry to find solutions. Drivers of Moldovan companies currently at the Troebortnoye customs post (Russian Federation) want to evacuate their cars to the territory of the Russian Federation in order to repair them and then bring them back to Moldova. According to the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development, out of 12 trucks of companies from Moldova, 8 have registration numbers of the Republic of Moldova, 2 - with registration numbers of the Russian Federation and 2 - with registration numbers of Romania. Assistance was also provided to 28 transport companies from Moldova (currently located in various cities of the Russian Federation and having 1-5 trucks each) to leave the territory of Russia in the direction of Moldova, bypassing the territory of Ukraine through a green corridor that will be offered by the Russian side. Detailed routes will be announced later by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation. As noted, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration and the National Road Transport Agency are making every effort to resolve specific cases of Moldovan carriers. // 04.03.2022 — InfoMarket
