Moldova has become the first country outside the EU to sign a cooperation agreement with the European Labor Authority (ELA)
The document was signed during an official visit by Minister of Labor and Social Protection Alexei Buzu in Slovakia. This document paves the way for expanded cooperation between Moldova and European institutions in such important areas as labor mobility, coordination of social security systems, and institutional capacity building. It is worth noting that the process of developing the agreement started in November 2023 and was accompanied by a series of technical consultations between the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection and the ELA, including the revision of the document to take into account Moldova's status as a candidate country for EU membership. // 02.05.2025 – InfoMarket.
