Moldova launches the “Voucher for Vocational Training of the Unemployed” platform

The platform https://voucher.anofm.md was developed with the support of the Center for Entrepreneurial Education and Business Support (CEDA) within the framework of the “Solutions for Youth” project (budget for 2023-2027 - over 1 million euros). It was created to facilitate the process of vocational training of the unemployed through short-term courses on a voucher basis. The electronic resource will speed up the process of enrollment in courses, reduce bureaucracy and allow for the digitalization of processes and increased institutional transparency. The platform will be available to public or private providers of vocational training services willing to contribute to the vocational training of the unemployed; persons registered as unemployed, without a profession/job or having a profession/job that does not meet the modern requirements of the labor market, as well as territorial divisions of the National Employment Agency. Access to the platform is possible using an electronic signature. This initiative is financed by the Austrian Development Agency (ADA) from the funds of the Austrian Development Cooperation Agency in partnership with the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the Ministry of Education and Research. According to official data, in 2024, 587 unemployed persons completed voucher courses in Moldova, of which 395 (67.3%) were women and 192 (32.7%) were men. By the end of 2024, 691 unemployed persons had completed vocational training programs (including those who started training in 2023).
