The amount of the minimum guaranteed income for adults and children is indexed by 7% from April 1

The indexation amount is determined based on the inflation rate at the end of the previous year, expressed by the increase in consumer prices in December of the same year compared to the same month of the previous year (7%). Thus, from April 1, the minimum guaranteed monthly income in Moldova will increase from 1634 to 1749 lei for adults and from 1700 to 1819 lei for children. Beneficiaries will be 18 thousand low-income families receiving monthly social assistance - about 2,600 lei on average. The expenses for these purposes were included in the state budget for 2025 and will amount to about 565.4 million lei. Also, the daily allowances for children without parental care and placed in foster families will be indexed by 7% as of April 1. Thus, the daily allowances for children will increase from 23 to 25 lei on ordinary days, from 190 to 204 lei on the child's birthday and from 135 to 145 lei on holidays. // 01.04.2025 - InfoMarket
