
New tariffs for water supply, sewerage and wastewater treatment services provided by Apă-Canal Chișinău came into force
On March 21, Monitorul Oficial (the Official Journal of Moldova) published the decision of the National Energy Regulatory Agency on the increase of tariffs for the company's public services. Thus, the tariff for drinking water for Apă-Canal Chișinău consumers increased from 10.79 to 12.99 lei per cubic meter (+20.4%). The tariff for technological water supply service increased from 8.11 to 12.23 lei per cubic meter (+50.8%). Also, from March 21, the tariff for sewerage and wastewater treatment services provided by Apă-Canal Chisinău to household consumers increased from 4.18 to 5.63 lei per cubic meter (+34.7%), while the tariff for non-household consumers remained unchanged at 10.16 lei per cubic meter. In addition, the tariff for the water production and transportation service of Apă-Canal Chişinău was approved - 4.22 lei/cubic meter (previously, this tariff was approved for several localities separately). Initially, Apă-Canal Chișinău requested a higher tariff increase from the National Energy Regulatory Agency, explaining it by the increase in costs and financial obligations, but the regulator approved the request only partially. // 21.03.2025 - InfoMarket
