Government approved the “Access to Culture” national program, with a budget of 50 million lei for 2025

The program is aimed at promoting cultural diversity, encouraging citizens' participation in cultural life and integrating national cultural values into the European space. The money allocated for the program implementation will be used to support the development of culture at the local level, especially in rural areas and communities with limited access to cultural events. In particular, 10 areas can receive funding: cultural tourism, training of cultural professionals, book purchases, museums, folk art, literature, theater, music, choreography, photography, protection of cultural patrimony, etc., as well as cultural tourism. A guide for applicants will soon be developed, a coordinating council will be established, a precise plan of activities will be approved, and the launch of cultural projects will take place in May. The most important element of the program is cultural mobility - supporting the exchange of initiatives and projects between regions, as well as creating bridges between local culture and international space. // 16.04.2025 - InfoMarket.
