The total amount of loans approved under the program is 2.5 billion lei, and the state, through ODA, guaranteed loans worth almost 1.5 billion lei. As for the housing typology, 90% are apartments and 10% individual houses. According to ODA Director Vadim Codreanu, the increased interest of citizens in the Prima Casa Plus program testifies to the need for affordable financial solutions for buying housing and the Moldovan government's commitment to support this goal. The program is a continuation of the earlier Prima Casă (First House) program. The new program allowed increasing the maximum value of the purchased housing almost 3 times - up to 2.5 million lei. Also, the maximum term of the loan was increased from 25 to 30 years, and the guarantee for housing purchased outside Chisinau was increased from 50% to 70%. Access to the program was granted to representatives of free professions, such as lawyers, bailiffs, mediators, cab drivers, artists, etc., as well as to owners of dwellings of less than 50 square meters, including those who had previously participated in the Prima Casă program. // 04.03.2025 - InfoMarket
