In the proposed takeaway menu, the cost of breakfast per student is 17.2 lei. It includes fresh fruit (apple, banana, tangerine, orange, pear, banana - different every day), a drink (tea, kefir, cocoa with milk, yogurt, lemonade) and basic food (bun with jelly, burger with chicken and vegetables, boiled egg and bun with cottage cheese, sandwich with chicken fillet and vegetables, sandwich with cheese). The Ministry is holding public consultations on the project until March 14. Let us remind you that the government has planned more than 205 million lei in the state budget for 2025 to provide free breakfasts to pupils from grades V-IX, starting from September 1. Currently, only elementary school pupils receive free breakfasts. The new measure will affect about 153 thousand pupils and represents an extension of the free meals program. Students of vocational schools, sports schools and students of V-XII classes from eastern Moldovan districts, Bender municipality and educational institutions located in the security zone will also benefit. // 03.03.2025 - InfoMarket.
