15 pupils and students of Moldova will receive the presidential scholarship for outstanding results in the 2024-2025 academic year

The list of beneficiaries was approved by the Cabinet of Ministers on Wednesday. It is stipulated that each of the 10 selected students will receive 3,690 lei per month for one academic year, while the scholarship for 5 college students will amount to 2,860 lei. Thus, the government strengthens the higher education system, supporting performance and meritocracy. When selecting the beneficiaries, aspects such as the average grade point, educational, cultural, sports and scientific activities of the young people, as well as letters of recommendation were taken into account. The presidential scholarships have been increased from 1845 to 3690 lei for students and up to 2860 lei for pupils of vocational schools, starting from the current academic year.
