In Moldova, standard diesel fuel has fallen in price by 3.4% (-0.7 lei per liter) over the past 14 days, from 20.33 to 19.63 lei per liter - the National Agency for Energy Regulation

These figures were provided by the National Agency for Energy Regulation (NAER), which noted that the fuel market is relatively stable with increasingly clear signs of a decline in prices, in particular, a significant drop in diesel fuel prices was recorded in August. The energy regulator emphasizes that after a period of instability from August 1 to 14, maximum retail fuel prices showed a slow trend with a slight decrease, due to lower Platts quotations and a moderate strengthening of the national currency against the US dollar. Thus, over the past 14 days, standard diesel fuel has become significantly cheaper: from 20.33 to 19.63 lei/liter (-0.7 lei/liter). The price of COR 95 gasoline fluctuated from 23.10 lei/liter at the beginning of the period to 23.07 lei/liter (-0.03 lei/liter). For tomorrow, August 15, NAER has set the following maximum retail prices for standard petroleum products: COR 95 gasoline - 23.07 lei/liter (-7 bani); standard diesel fuel - 19.63 lei/liter (-9 bani). NAER emphasizes that it will continue to monitor the situation on the fuel market, ensuring transparency in the pricing process and regular communication with consumers. // 14.08.2025 – InfoMarket.
