Energocom will cooperate with Moldovagaz on issues related to billing and customer service
The state-owned company announced this, recalling that on August 4, the National Agency for Energy Regulation (NAER) decided that Energocom would take over the functions of natural gas supplier to the right bank of the Dniester River in Moldova starting September 1. In accordance with the decision of NAER, from September 1, Energocom will take over the functions of natural gas supplier for certain categories of end users as part of its public service obligations and emergency service provision. This change is aimed at ensuring the continuity of natural gas supplies to more than 830,000 consumers without any action on their part. The transition will take place automatically, without affecting access to the service. To ensure a smooth and transparent transition, Energocom will cooperate with the supplier whose license has been revoked on issues related to billing and customer service. Energocom emphasized that it has played an active role in the wholesale natural gas market to date, helping to ensure the necessary supply volumes to end consumers. The company has already started purchasing gas for the 2025–2026 heating season to guarantee uninterrupted supplies to consumers. Energocom stated that it remains committed to providing safe, transparent, and compliant services for the benefit of all residential and non-residential consumers in Moldova. // 04.08.2025 — InfoMarket
