NAER has changed the time intervals for consumers who will choose to apply differentiated electricity prices
The National Agency for Energy Regulation reported that, among other things, at its meeting of March 11, NAER’s Management Board approved an amendment to its decision of June 18, 2024, on the approval of tariff coefficients to be applied to determine the prices for electricity supply to household consumers participating in demonstration projects. According to NAER, the following time intervals have been established: intervals with consumption above the base level — from 7:00 to 11:00 and from 16:00 to 23:00; interval with consumption within the base level — from 11:00 to 16:00; interval with consumption below the base level — from 23:00 to 7:00 in the morning. "By equalizing the time intervals for consumers who choose to apply differentiated prices depending on the hours of consumption and for consumers who will be involved in demonstration projects, the technical and operational difficulties in implementing both mechanisms within the framework of operator-managed IT systems will be eliminated, and the process of collecting and managing data related to electricity consumption will be simplified," NAER said in a statement. // 11.03.2025 - InfoMarket
