The Ministry of Energy urged Moldelectrica SE to speed up the implementation of the construction projects of 400 kV Vulcanesti-Chisinau and Balti-Suceava transmission lines

In particular, Energy Minister Dorin Junghietu visited Moldelectrica on Wednesday, where he met with its staff. During the discussions, the Energy Minister praised the professionalism and efforts of the company's employees in maintaining the stability of the national electricity system. He noted that Moldelectrica is a team of professionals that supported the power system in difficult conditions. “Moldelectrica, as an operator of the electricity transmission system, represents the backbone of the energy sector and its team plays an important role in ensuring the country's energy security,” Dorin Junghietu said. He also emphasized the importance of close cooperation between Moldelectrica and the Ministry of Energy for the implementation of priority projects, such as the 400 kV Vulcanesti-Chisinau and Balti-Suceava transmission lines. These projects are necessary to strengthen the energy infrastructure and ensure an efficient interconnection with the regional systems. The head of the Energy Ministry called for the maximum acceleration of the works so that these lines are connected within the set deadline. “The Ministry of Energy will provide all necessary support to achieve these strategic goals,” the head of the Ministry added.
