At the same time, the Parliament recognized the termination of the mandate of Veaceslav Untilă, who was the Director General of the National Agency for Energy Regulation (NAER). The candidacy of Eugen Carpov for the post of NAER Director was proposed after the commission for economy, budget and finance held an open competition, to which 14 candidates were admitted, and Eugen Carpov received the highest score. Eugen Carpov has a law degree and has served as NAER Director since 2019. NAER's Management Board consists of 5 directors.
