The MPs adopted this decision, while endorsing the decree on the creation of 11 standing parliamentary commissions, approving their chairpersons, deputy chairpersons, secretaries, and members of the commissions. The nominal composition of the standing committees was determined taking into account the proportional representation of the factions in the parliament. At the same time, the MPs from the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) faction will chair 8 commissions out of 11. In particular, Olesea Stamate will head the Parliament's Legal Commission on Appointments and Immunities (11 members); Commission on Economy, Budget and Finance (10 members) – Dumitru Budianschi; Commission on National Security, Defense and Public Order (9 members) - Lilian Carp; Commission for Foreign Policy and European Integration (9 members) - Doina Gherman; Commission on Agriculture and Food Industry (9 members) - Vladimir Bolea; Public Administration Commission (9 members) - Larisa Voloh; Commission for Culture, Education, Research, Youth, Sports and Media (12 members) - Liliana Nicolaescu-Onofrei; Commission on Social Protection, Health and Family (9 members) - Dan Perciun. At the same time, representatives of the "Electoral Bloc of Communists and Socialists" faction will lead three specialized commissions.
