
Three parliamentary factions have been created in the new parliament of Moldova, while the PAS faction has officially announced the creation of a parliamentary majority.
In particular, as it was announced at the constituent meeting of the new convocation of the parliament, continued on Thursday, the faction of the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) consists of 63 MPs, and Mihai Popsoi was elected its chairman. His deputies will be Vladimir Bolea, Doina Gherman and Lilian Carp. At the same time, the "Electoral Bloc of Communists and Socialists" faction includes 32 MPs. Zinaida Greceanii was elected chairperson of this faction, and Corneliu Furculita and Constantin Staris will be deputy chairmen of the faction.
