
The CEC summed up the results of the early parliamentary elections, approved the number of mandates for the parties that entered parliament and will send materials to the Constitutional Court for the recognition of the election results and approval of the mandates of the deputies.
In particular, during a meeting on Monday, in accordance with the approved protocol for summing up the results of early parliamentary elections, the Central Election Commission recognized the early parliamentary elections of July 11 as valid and set the number of seats that will receive in the new parliament two political parties and an electoral bloc that have crossed the electoral threshold. In particular, in the new parliament, the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) will have 63 deputy mandates, the electoral bloc of communists and socialists - 32, and the Sor Party - 6 mandates. The members of the Central Election Commission approved the decision on the distribution of 101 MP mandates in the Parliament of Moldova among the electoral candidates in accordance with the election results and announced reserve candidates for the position of deputy who were not elected in accordance with the results of these elections, but they will be able to become deputies in the event that a parliamentary mandate from their political formation is declared vacant in the future. Also today, the CEC approved the Report on the results of the early parliamentary elections on July 11, 2021, which will be sent to the Constitutional Court to confirm the election results.
