
Alexandru Catan was appointed new Interim Director of the State Enterprise "Mileștii Mici Quality Wine Complex".
Presenting him to the staff, Roman Cojuhari, Director General of the Public Property Agency, expressed his gratitude to the team that has been working in the company for years, including Vitalie Boghiu, who acted as Interim Director of the State Enterprise "Mileștii Mici Quality Wine Complex" during the last period. "We are proud that Mileștii Mici is a strong brand, internationally recognized for its quality products and the hospitality you show towards the tourists who are visiting you. But there is still room for development, restructuring and modernization of the Complex," Roman Cojuhari said. The "Mileştii Mici" winery has become a legend thanks to its collection of 1.5 million bottles of valuable wines dating back to the heyday of Moldovan winemaking: Pinot, Traminer, Muscat, Riesling, Feteasca, Dnestrovskoe, Milestskoe, Codru, Trandafirul Moldovei, Auriu, Cahor-Ciumai, Marsala, Utreneaia Rosa, Nejnost" and others. In August 2005, the "Golden Collection" of Mileștii Mici was registered in the Guinness Book of Records as the largest wine collection in the world.
