Moldova studies Poland's experience in regional development and management of European funding

This was announced by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development, noting that the delegation of the department made a study visit to Poland to strengthen the capacity of the members of the Working Group responsible for regional policy and coordination of structural instruments within the framework of European legislation. The visit included training based on thematic presentations of the employees of the Ministry of Development Funds and Regional Policy of Poland, as well as a visit to Żyrardów, where the results of urban revitalization projects financed with EU support were presented. At the same time, the Moldovan delegation visited the EU Project Centre in Transport and the National School of Public Administration. The topics discussed during the training concerned regional development policy in Poland, cooperation with regions in implementing this policy, the strategic management system, national urban policy, as well as Poland's experience in managing and controlling the costs of projects financed through Interreg programmes. The importance of promoting and properly informing the beneficiaries of European funding and the experience of implementing the Operational Programmes of Technical Assistance for 2014-2020 and Technical Assistance for European funding for 2021-2027 were also discussed.
