
Moldovan MPs held 4 plenary sessions in November 2024, during which they adopted 34 normative acts in the second reading
According to the press service of the supreme legislative body, these are 31 laws and 3 resolutions. In the first reading, 46 legislative initiatives were adopted, 6 of which were designed to harmonize the national legislation with that of the European Union. At the same time, 39 draft normative acts were submitted to the legislative procedure in November. The most important legislative initiatives adopted by the parliament in November stipulate that Moldovan citizens living in Italy will be able to receive pensions and other social benefits through a more accessible mechanism; the ban on the use of cell phones during lessons; the possibility for citizens to seek legal assistance remotely; adjustment of the state budget for 2024; issuance of compensation in the form of cash payments; access of local entrepreneurs to foreign capital markets; regulation of the psychologist's profession. Before being voted on at the plenary session of the parliament, the legislative initiatives were considered at the meetings of the standing committees.
