Rural pharmacies subsidized by the state will open in 56 more villages of Moldova
These are the results of the latest competition held by the Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices. As reported by the press service of the agency, 9 economic agents participated in the competition, each of them undertook to open rural pharmacies with state support in villages (from 1 to 17 per company). During the auction, as a result of competition, the size of the state subsidy was reduced. Within the framework of this competition, it was proposed to find companies to open 100 pharmacies in villages with a population of 630 to 3.3 thousand residents. It is worth noting that so far, within the framework of the “Pharmacy in Your Village” program, the Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices has issued 46 licenses, and 41 pharmacies are already operating, serving rural communities of the country. Recall that, according to the terms of the project, subsidies for the activities of rural pharmacies will be provided monthly, depending on sales revenues. Thus, the monthly subsidy amount will be 10 thousand lei for sales of up to 150 thousand lei per month, 15 thousand lei for sales of up to 100 thousand lei and up to 20 thousand lei for sales of up to 50 thousand lei per month. With a quarterly sales volume of more than 450 thousand lei, the beneficiary will not be able to receive a subsidy. Subsidized pharmacies must have an agreement with the National Health Insurance Company for the dispensing of reimbursed drugs, cash registers, an automated information system, Internet access, a room of at least 15 square meters (except for the lobby and bathroom), equipment for storing drugs, etc. A rural pharmacy must be open at least 6 hours a day. // 02.12.2024 – InfoMarket.
