According to the National Electronic Communications and Information Technology Regulatory Agency, this increase was due to an increase in revenues received by providers from the sale of fixed Internet, mobile Internet and pay TV services. At the same time, sales in the fixed Internet services market increased by 3.6% and amounted to 371.3 million lei, in the mobile Internet services market - increased by 4.1% - up to 327.3 million lei, and in the pay TV services market - increased by 23.5% - up to 72 million lei. Herewith, income received from other activities in the field of electronic communications increased by 11% - up to 207.9 million lei. Meanwhile, revenues from the sale of fixed and mobile services for the reporting period decreased: in the first position - by 19.2% - to 69.4 million lei, and in the second - by 0.9% - to 713.1 million lei. The highest average monthly income per user (ARPU) in the II quarter of 2022 was recorded in the fixed Internet access market - 159.5 lei, which is 1.7% less compared to the same period last year.
