
Four Moldovan IT companies will receive up to $40 thousand each in grants.
UNDP has selected the winners of a contest launched in partnership with the e-Government Agency and the "Optim - Opportunities through Technology and Innovation in Moldova Project" of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), implemented by HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation. The winners are: M Grinder ICT, which will develop a proactive cyber security system based on artificial intelligence for the public sector and banks, and then expand it to other sectors; Simpals, which will develop an escrow service for digital sales and e-commerce platforms in Moldova in order to increase public trust in online transactions; Power IT and the American University of Moldova, which will develop an educational solution aimed at improving remote learning in higher educational institutions; XY Incubator, which will expand the already existing system of e-commerce in Moldova. The grants total $152,200, of which $99 thousand is provided by HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation.
