It was also agreed that 34% of the remaining profits will be invested in the development of the company, 10% - directed to the formation of reserve capital, 1% - to pay remuneration to members of the governing bodies, the audit commission and state representatives, and 5% - for other purposes provided for by the legislation, including the payment of taxes on remuneration, social benefits, etc. The shareholders also approved the priority areas for the development of Moldtelecom for 2022-2024. Administrative expenses increased by 5.6% - from 52.81 million to 55.75 million lei. EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes and accrued depreciation) decreased by 0.8% - from 864.2 million lei in 2020 to 857 million lei in 2021. According to the company's report, Moldtelecom's revenue from fixed telephone services in 2021 amounted to 311.9 million lei (-15.6% compared to 2020), from mobile telephony - 281.02 million lei (+ 13%), fixed Internet and IPTV - 979.05 million lei (+5.7%).
