According to the documents, the revenues of Moldtelecom in January-June 2022 decreased by 1.9%, from 846.4 million to 830 million lei, the total expenses increased by 0.3%, from 747.5 million to 750 million lei, while the operating profit decreased by 19.1%, from 98.9 to 80 million lei, as compared with the same period of 2021. The total number of employees of the company decreased by 7.9% - from 2795 to 2574 people. As InfoMarket agency earlier reported, the net profit of Moldtelecom in 2021 amounted to 91.53 million lei, up 6.4% relative to 2020. At the same time, the revenue of Moldtelecom increased by 1.9% over the year - from 1 billion 573 million 403 thousand lei to 1 billion 603 million 258 thousand lei. According to the company's report, in 2021, the income of Moldtelecom from fixed telephony services made 311.9 million lei (-15.6% compared to 2020), the income from mobile telephony - 281.02 million lei (+13%), fixed Internet and IPTV - 979.05 million lei (+5.7%). The authorized capital of the company is 1 billion 015 million 120 thousand lei. Moldtelecom is the national operator of fixed telephony.
