Since March 24, individuals can independently declare online parcels worth more than 150 euros received via international mail
The Customs Service reported that goods delivered to Moldova to individuals via international mail, worth from 150 to 1000 euros, can be cleared online. The new system will save citizens from having to go to customs posts or use the services of customs brokers; now it is possible to fill out a customs declaration and pay import duties online, on the website https://ecustoms.trade.gov.md/individual-person. Using this platform, users will be able to directly fill out and submit a customs declaration, following the instructions. The person filling out the declaration is responsible for the correctness of the entered data and any errors. At the same time, the declaration can be checked before being transferred and entered into the customs information system. After the customs officer checks the information and calculates the import duty, the person will be able to pay it via MPAY. Subsequently, after customs clearance, the parcel will be delivered directly to the address specified when placing the order. // 24.03.2025 — InfoMarket.
