In Moldova, prices for sunflower oil of domestic production have been reduced by 15% since March 27.

This was announced by the group of companies Trans-Oil Group, which owns the largest producer of sunflower oil in Moldova - Balti oil extraction plant Floarea Soarelui. As noted, from Monday, the base price for a bottle of FLORIS oil 955 ml is 24 lei 60 bani (factory selling price including VAT) instead of the previous price of 29 lei 10 bani. The Trans-Oil Group noted that world prices for grain, oilseeds and vegetable oils have recently decreased. Being part of the regional and global market, this trend is also noted in the Moldovan agricultural market. In this context, taking into account the current prices for agricultural products in Moldova, as well as the desire of the Trans-Oil Group to be a socially oriented business, the Floarea Soarelui Oil Extraction Plant announced a corresponding reduction in the selling price of FLORIS deodorized refined oil intended for the domestic market of Moldova. Trans-Oil Group said it will continue to monitor market developments and, depending on the purchase price of raw materials, will promptly respond with strict adjustments. //27.03.2023 — InfoMarket.
