
In Moldova, the average selling prices of agricultural products by agricultural enterprises in 2022, compared to 2021, increased by 13.6%.
This was reported by the National Bureau of Statistics, noting that, at the same time, in January-December 2022, producer prices for crop products increased by an average of 13.2% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year. Especially grew the selling prices for melons and gourds - by 2 times, berry crops - by 83.2%, vegetables - by 55.2%, sugar beets - by 46.7%, potatoes - by 46.4%, wheat - by 28.4%, leguminous crops - by 23.9%, corn - by 9.8%. Stone fruits rose in price by 4.7%, sunflower - by 4.4%, rapeseed - by 3.9%, fruits and berries - by 0.3%. At the same time, producer prices for pome fruits decreased - by 4.3%, for soybeans - by 1%. According to the NBS, in 2022, compared to 2021, producer prices for livestock products increased by an average of 16%, including for eggs of all types - by 26.4%, for livestock and poultry (live weight) - by 14.9% (in particular, cattle - by 18.8%, pigs - by 18.6%, poultry - by 10.1%, sheep and goats - by 3.7%), milk all types - by 13.5%. The data of the NBS are presented for agricultural enterprises and peasant (farm) enterprises with a farmland area of 50 hectares or more (without data from enterprises and organizations on the left bank of the Dniester and Bender) and reflect the dynamics of average prices, based on the actual structure of their sales of agricultural products. // 06.03.2023 — InfoMarket
