Until March 7, landowners can apply for advance grants for the implementation of land improvement and soil protection projects.

The Advance Grants Program for Land Reclamation Investment Projects allows individuals and legal entities, also to local authorities of the I level, to receive funding for the implementation of measures to prevent and combat soil erosion, for chemical soil reclamation and measures to preserve and improve soil fertility. Projects worth up to 1 million lei can receive funding, the state covers up to 80% of the project cost, the beneficiary's contribution is 20%. According to the terms of the program, subsidies will be provided in two tranches: 70% - subject to the provision of evidence that the beneficiary has contributed at least 20% of the cost of the investment project; 30% - after the commissioning of the investment object and the provision of relevant supporting documents.
