This was reported by the National Bureau of Statistics, noting that we are talking about preliminary data on gross agricultural output in farms of all categories (agricultural enterprises, peasant (farm) households) in 2022 in comparable prices. It is emphasized that the overall decrease last year in the volume of agricultural production was due to a decrease in crop production by 36.8% and livestock - by 2.6%. At the same time, in 2022, the share of crop production in the total volume of agricultural products amounted to 72% (in 2021 - 80%), livestock - 28% (in 2021 - 20%). According to preliminary data from the NBS, in particular, the harvest of grain and leguminous crops in 2022 amounted to 1 million 732.4 thousand tons, having decreased by 2.7 times (-63.1%) in physical terms. Herewith, the gross harvest of wheat amounted to 851.1 thousand tons (-45.6%). The corn harvest decreased by almost 4 times (-74.8%) - to 705 thousand tons. The sunflower harvest in 2022 amounted to 621.6 thousand tons (-35.3%), sugar beet - 382.1 thousand tons (-49.6%), soybeans - 30.8 thousand tons (-39%), rapeseed - 77.3 thousand tons (-16.3%), potatoes - 171.5 thousand tons (-21.4%), vegetables - 255.8 thousand tons (+10.3%). The production of fruits, nuts and berries amounted to 647.2 thousand tons (-26.1%), grapes - 528.2 thousand tons (+7.6%). The NBS notes that in 2022 the average yield of cereals and legumes was 20.6 centners per hectare (-59.1% by 2021), wheat - 25.7 centners per hectare (-39.5%), corn - 16.8 c/ha (-69.3%), sunflower - 14.4 c/ha (-41.5%), sugar beet - 404.5 c/ha (-15.4%), tobacco - 3.3 c/ha (-78.1%), soybeans - 13.6 c/ha (-42.6%), rapeseed - 22.6 c/ha (-17.5%), potatoes - 76.8 c/ha (-21.7%), field crops - 63.9 c/ha (+8.7%), fruits, nuts and berries - 56 c/ha (-26%), grapes - 48.9 c/ha (+7.7%). According to official data, in 2022, agricultural enterprises produced the bulk of the volume of sugar beet - 94.4% of the total, rapeseed - 88.8%, grain and leguminous crops (except corn) - 76.4%, sunflower - 71.3 %, tobacco - 69.9%, soybeans - 54.6%. Meanwhile, 95.8% of the total volume of gourds, 92.1% of the total volume of potatoes, 82.8% of vegetables, 65.4% of grapes, 62.4% of fruits, nuts and berries and 55.7% corn was produced by households and peasant (farm) households. According to the NBS, last year the overall decline in gross livestock production by 2.6% was due to a general decline in meat and milk production, while egg production increased. In particular, the cultivation of livestock and poultry in 2022, compared to 2021, decreased by 2.4% - to 171 thousand tons, while the indicator of agricultural enterprises increased by 1.8% - to 95 thousand tons, and households - decreased by 7.1% - to 76 thousand tons. Cow's milk production decreased by 10.3% - to 264.9 thousand tons, while in agricultural enterprises it increased by 13.2% - to 32 thousand tons, and in households - decreased by 12.8% - to 232.9 thousand tons.
