The corresponding order of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry was published in Monitorul Oficial (the Official Journal of Moldova). In accordance with the Law on subsidized insurance in agriculture, the subsidy rate is established on the basis of insurance premiums calculated in accordance with the special conditions of insurance of production risks in agriculture and is 70% of their value, if the total amount of subsidies for subsidized insurance approved for payment in the year preceding the insurance contract is up to 6% of the National Fund for Agricultural and Rural Development.
