The Moldovan Civil Aviation Authority has informed passengers traveling to Turkey about new fines introduced onboard aircraft by that country
Specifically, starting in 2026, the Turkish Civil Aviation Authority has introduced additional passenger screening measures aimed at enhancing onboard safety. Passengers are strictly prohibited from leaving their seats, unfastening their seat belts, or opening the carry-on baggage compartments until the aircraft has come to a complete stop and the seatbelt reminder has gone out. Failure to comply with these rules may result in administrative penalties, which can carry a fine of up to €60-65, in accordance with current Turkish legislation. These measures apply to all flights landing at Turkish airports, including tourist destinations such as Antalya. // 27.01.2026 — InfoMarket.// 27.01.2026 — InfoMarket.
