A regulation on state aid in accordance with EU standards has entered into force in Moldova
According to the Competition Council, the regulation was developed to implement the provisions of Article 341 of the Moldova-EU Association Agreement, as well as the measures envisaged in Moldova's National Program for Accession to the EU for 2025-2029. The regulation defines the constituent elements of state aid: the existence of an enterprise, the attribution of the measure to the state, financing from public resources, the granting of a preference, the selective nature of the measure, and its impact on competition and trade between Moldova and EU countries. The regulation also contains clarifications regarding the financing of infrastructure from public funds. The regulation has been in effect since May 28.// 02.06.2026 – InfoMarket.
