Bilateral trade between Moldova and Romania exceeded €3 billion in 2025, while Romanian investments in our country amounted to approximately €35 million
This was discussed during a meeting between Moldovan Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu and representatives of the Romanian delegation at the World Economic Forum in Davos – Foreign Minister Oana Toiu and Minister of Investments and European Projects Dragos Pislaru. The Moldovan Prime Minister noted that relations between Moldova and Romania have not only been maintained over time and are based on close friendship and shared values, but are also increasingly strengthened by each joint project. Alexandru Munteanu conveyed a message of gratitude to the members of the Romanian government for the solidarity and friendship between our countries and for their constant support on Moldova's path to European integration. At the same time, it was emphasized that last year Romania remained Moldova's main trade and investment partner. Bilateral trade exceeded €3 billion, and Romanian investments in our country reached approximately €35 million. “We are building bridges that transcend geographical boundaries.
