Airlines from Armenia, including FlyOne Armenia, will be able to perform flights to the EU and Moldova only using airplanes leased under the “wet lease” scheme - Civil Aviation Authority (CAA)
Responding to the relevant request of InfoMarket agency, the Civil Aviation Authority of Moldova (CAA) noted that the Civil Aviation Authority of Armenia does not have sufficient capacity to properly supervise its airlines. This has led to all Armenian air carriers being placed on the aviation safety list. As a result, Fly One Armenia will be able to operate flights to the EU and Moldova only under the terms of “wet lease”, which is the lease of an aircraft together with crew, maintenance and insurance. In this case, the airline leasing the aircraft actually uses the aircraft under the management of another licensed company, which is responsible for its operation and safety. //19.03.2025 - InfoMarket.
