The Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development established new tariffs for road transport of passengers on regular routes from January 1, 2024, which replaced the maximum tariffs in force from March 1, 2022. Thus, in inter-district traffic, the tariff for category I comfort per 1 passenger increased from 0 .8 to 0.86 lei/km, for category II comfort – from 0.7 to 0.75 lei/km; and in regional traffic for comfort category I the tariff increased from 0.9 to 0.96 lei/km, for comfort category II – from 0.8 to 0.85 lei/km.
