Moldova will have more European roads as it will initiate in 2023 projects worth over 12 billion lei to repair and modernize roads.
Andrei Spinu, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development, said this when speaking about the most important tasks for this year. He noted that in 2022, despite multiple crises, the authorities have laid a solid foundation for our country's future and in 2023, Moldova is ready to move from crises to creation, from difficulties to development. "This will be the year when we will build even more, implement even more projects to improve people's daily lives. We will move towards a Moldova that will look different than in the past. Moldova will be more modern and stronger," Andrei Spinu said. In this context, Deputy Prime Minister said that 6 main objectives have been identified, which will be the focus of the Ministry this year. "More renewable energy, more solar panels and more wind power plants. We will select the first major investment projects in renewable energy production; More European roads. We will initiate projects worth more than 12 billion lei to rehabilitate roads; more projects for our villages. We will launch a new contest of projects for the "European Village"; more modern transportation. We will manage the passenger transport through digitalization; more order in construction. We will approve the Code of Urban Planning and Construction; roaming, as at home, throughout the European Union, as we did in Romania. We will pay less if we use the Internet or a cell phone outside the country. We have shown the world that Moldovans are strong, hardworking, purposeful and deserve better living conditions. Next to you, I am sure we will succeed! Last year we succeeded, in 2023 we will succeed even more," Andrei Spinu wrote on his social network page. // 24.01.2023 - InfoMarket.
