ANTA will receive support from USAID to develop a methodology for the calculation of the cost of services provided.
The Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development announced that the National Road Transport Agency (ANTA) will receive assistance from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) to develop a methodology for calculating the cost of services provided, as well as for promoting draft regulations. The officials made the statement at a meeting held by Undersecretary of State for Infrastructure and Regional Development Mircea Pascaluta with the USAID Moldova Institutional and Structural Reforms Activity (MISRA) and economic experts to identify areas of support for the development of a methodology for billing services provided by ANTA and the Agency for Water Transport of Moldova (ANRM) , as well as for the development/improvement of regulations to improve the performance of the agencies. During the meeting, the USAID expert who will deal directly with the assigned tasks was introduced and the aspects to be considered such as deadlines, cooperation modalities, etc., were discussed. Mircea Pascaluta noted that this assistance from USAID is very necessary. "ANTA and ANRM provide different freight and passenger services, and with the support of a delegated expert, the services provided by the agency will have a fair and reasonable price," Mircea Pasacaluta stressed. // 13.01.2023 - InfoMarket.
