Representatives of the State Road Administration reported this, noting that during the working meeting they discussed with the contractor - the Turkish company OZKA Inșaat A.S. - the implementation of the contract to repair this section of the national road, crossing the Hincesti, Leova and Cantemir districts. During the meeting, the problems faced by the contractor during the construction works were discussed: the supply of the necessary materials for asphalt layers, as well as prefabricated elements for the construction of bridges and footbridges. The repair work is divided into two lots and is more than 15% complete. As a result of the meeting, the necessary actions to accelerate the progress of the work were identified. The total value of the contract signed with OZKA exceeds 56 million euros. This money is provided to the Government of Moldova as a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. The contractor has undertaken to complete the works until the end of February 2023.
