The Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization presented this data, noting that Moldovan citizens saved this amount last year, thanks to the reduction of roaming tariffs applied on the basis of the agreement between EU and Moldovan operators. The State Secretary of the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization, Cătălina Plinschi, recalled that 2 years ago Moldova initiated negotiations with the European Commission and achieved the reduction of roaming tariffs through a historic agreement between EU and Moldovan operators. “We put an end to the depressing phenomenon and canceled astronomical bills.
