Moldova's online environment will become safer for children

In particular, the Cabinet approved an action plan meant to protect children from the risks of using the Internet and to ensure their access to a safe and healthy online environment. The program will include the expansion of the partner network of the Child Sexual Abuse Reporting Service. Awareness campaigns will be conducted about the risks in the online space to which minors may be exposed, and online violence reporting services will be promoted. The implementation of online protection and student safety standards will also be monitored in general education institutions. These actions will ensure minimizing the exposure of minors to risks in the online environment, increasing responsibility for the use of the Internet, as well as conducting educational and awareness-raising activities to inform both children and adults about online safety.
