
The main tourist destination of the year in Moldova was the tourist region "Heart of the Dniester"
This was announced during the "Tourism Gala", which took place on the evening of September 27, the International Tourism Day. The Ministry of Culture of Moldova and the National Tourism Office awarded the best companies, organizations and experts in the tourism industry. Thus, for promoting the destination, awards were received by the Lower Prut Nature Reserve, the Apriori Wine company and the 3D tourist map of Chisinau; the best cultural and educational sites were the Tipova Museum Complex, the Karaman House Museum, the Petru Costin Collection Gallery; the best eco-tourism destinations were the Lower Prut Nature Reserve, the La Castel Landscape Reserve, and the Stefan Oak in EcoResort. The best accommodation structures were the Codru tourist complex, the Valea Stâncii agro-pension and Casa Sobarului, and the structure with the most delicious food was the Fuior Gourmet b C.B.T. Cricova-Vin, and for the abundance of gastronomic entertainment – Eco Resort Butuceni, the ethno-tourism complex Gagauz Sofrasi, Lower Prut - Meleag Natal. For the best rural experience offered to visitors, the awards were given to the pottery house "Vasili Gonciar", the boarding house La Tudora and the tourist tour Detox Digital Medieval, in the category of entertainment tourism the awards were given to the boarding house Meșter Faur, the project Stâncile Prutului and Hora inimii, and in the category "Wine tourism" the awards went to the winery in Milestii Mici, ATU Winery and Crama Tudor. The best travel agencies were Enjoy Moldova by Solei Tourism, Tatrabis, Safe Travel Agency and Winetours Moldova. The best guides were Ferrari Alfredo, Balan Artemis and Bojan Angela, the best media, influencers and bloggers – the LA PAS PRIN ȚARĂ program, the Călătorii cu gust portal and the Popas Turistic program. The tourism innovations were the Medical Tourism Association, the TravelAnt platform and Village Travel Bot. The most significant sustainable development projects in the tourism industry are the State University project Empowering young women: sustainable livelihoods through tourism, the tourist route through the Lower Prut National Park and the VIA Cahul tourism cluster. The novelty of the year is the Castel Mimi Wine Resort hotel, the equestrian and agrotourism complex Kazak Club and Butoiul din Scoreni. The most important experts in the industry are Nicolai Platon and Nina Belei.
