The government approved the relevant decree at a meeting on Wednesday. The Ministry of Internal Affairs bought these masks at the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic at a purchase price of 2.5 lei per piece, but now the demand and the price for these goods have decreased. At the same time, medical institutions of the country refused to buy this product, citing the availability of sufficient stocks, as well as the high cost of supply.
