According to the Ministry of Health, the center will begin operating on July 15. The Primary Stroke Center will provide access to high-quality medical services for patients from Floresti, Drochia and Soldanesti districts. The center is equipped with modern medical equipment, indispensable for the quick and accurate diagnosis of stroke: computed tomography, digital x-ray, a medical bed for patients with stroke and a special cart for transporting equipment for monitoring such patients (telestroke cart). The equipment will also be used in case of other urgent medical situations - traumatic, internal bleeding, cardiac, oncological, respiratory diseases, and will reduce the waiting list for such examinations. It is worth noting that the next 2 centers will open in Falesti and Cahul. The Ministry of Health notes that over the past 2 years, 39 million lei have been invested from the state budget and the assistance of partners in equipping and modernizing the Floresti district hospital. // 10.07.2024 – InfoMarket.
