
The Moldovan robotics team RoboRangers won 3 awards at once in the FIRST LEGO League Florida Invitational competition.
The competition took place from June 19 to 22 in Daytona Beach, Florida in the USA, with approximately 1,500 participants from all over the world taking part. The RoboRangers team from Moldova took the 3rd place in the Robot Performance competition, receiving recognition for the technical characteristics, programming and operation skills of the robots. The team also received the Finalist Award, which highlights their talents in all aspects of the competition, and team coach Florin Cazac received the Mentor Award. It is worth noting that the RoboRangers team was recognized as the champion of the first National LEGO League Moldova competition in March 2024. Its participation in the FIRST LEGO League Florida Invitational competition was made possible thanks to the support of the Ministry of Education and Research and the Future Technologies Activity (FTA), which is funded by USAID, Sweden and Great Britain, and also with the support of Tekwill and Tekwill Academy Kids.
