More than 60 employees of the local pre-hospital medical care service, including doctors, paramedics, nurses, and drivers, will work in a new building built and equipped according to European standards. At the same time, residents of Orhei and 11 communes of this region will receive better medical services. The construction of the new building in Orhei cost 34 million lei, which is part of a total investment of more than 320 million lei made to modernize pre-hospital emergency care throughout the country. The opening ceremony of the substation was attended by the President of Moldova, Maia Sandu, and the Minister of Health, Ala Nemerenco. The head of state appreciated the work of ambulance workers, noting that the state is striving to improve their working conditions.
